Below given is the Maharashtra MBA CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria in detail. MAH MBA CET is the Common Entrance Test for admissions to various University affiliated MBA, MMS, PGDM and PGDBM courses in Maharashtra. This exam is mandatory for those who are interested to take admission in Two Year full-time MBA course. The candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria to appear for MAH MBA CET 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for Appearing MAH MBA CET 2017

Passed minimum Three-year Duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra
State only) or its equivalent;

OR

Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree to be awarded by any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline.

Note:

 Aggregate marks means the grand total of marks obtained by the candidate in subjects on which the class declaration is made in the particular University from which the candidate is passing the qualifying examination.

 In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the University/institution from where they have obtained the bachelor’s degree.

 The percentage of marks shall be calculated by rounding off to two places after decimal.

 The candidates belonging to SC, VJ/DT (NT (A)), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), OBC and SBC categories should produce “Caste Validity Certificate” issued by Scrutiny Committee of Social Welfare Department and the Candidate belonging to ST category should submit “Tribe Validity Certificate” issued by Scrutiny Committee of Tribal Department and valid Non Creamy Layer certificate except SC, ST candidates at the time of
verification of documents.

Admission against All India Seats through CAP: Eligibility Criteria

  • Indian Nationality
  • Appeared for CAT (conducted by IIMs)/ GMAT (conducted by GMAC, USA)/ CMAT 2015 (Conducted by AICTE)/MAT (conducted by AIMA in February 2015)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/
    ATMA (conducted by AIMS)/ MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2015.

J & K MIGRANT

Eligibility Criteria for admission to J & K Migrant candidates through CAP:

  • Qualification mentioned in Basic Eligibility (See above)
  • Indian Nationality
  • Other Entrance Exams Validated by DTE Check here

Eligibility Criteria for admissions against seats for NRI/Foreign National/Foreign Student/ PIO/Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries:

  • Basic educational qualification as specified inBasic Eligibility (See above)
  • Appeared for Other Entrance Exams Validated by DTE Check here
  • OR Appeared for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2016

OR

  • Appeared for CET conducted by the agency (including Association of all colleges of a particular type in the State) approved by Pravesh Niyantran Samiti, Bandra (E), Mumbai-51 for the
    academic year 2015-16

Eligibility Criteria for admission against Minority Seats/Institute Level Seats:

  • Indian Nationality
  • In case of Minority seats, the candidate should belong to the minority community/group for which the institute has secured minority status.
  • Appeared for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2016

OR

  • Appeared for Other Entrance Exams Validated by DTE Check here

OR

  • Appeared for CET conducted by the agency (including Association of all colleges of a particular type in the State) approved by Pravesh Niyantran Samiti, Bandra (E), Mumbai-51 for the
    academic year 2015-16
