This is a quick recipe of Crispy-peanut / Groundnut Chutney. Also called Mungfali / Shengadana ki suki chatni (मूंगफली की चटनी/शेंगदाणा सुकी चटणी) in Hindi. You can prepare Crispy peanut or groundnut chutney in few minutes with the steps given below.


    Groundnut / Peanuts – 1 cup

    Green/Red chillies – 4

    Coriander – few

    Curry leaves – 5

    Garlic – 6-7 petals

    Cumin- 1/2 tsp

    Salt – 1/2 tsp ( or as per taste )

    Oil – 1 tsp


    Roast Groundnut / Peanuts on medium flame till they become light. Let it cool.

    Take food processor’s vegetable cutting jar; attach steel blade to it. Add all ingredients to it and grind it for 2-3 minutes.

    Keep consistency of mixture coarse. Do not grind it fine.

    (You can take big grinding Jar in case you have mixer-grinder.The only precaution you should take is you turn on-off the switch frequently to achieve coarseness of mixture.)

    Heat oil into pan and add the mixture to it. Roast it till it become crispy on slow to medium heat.

    This chutney tastes very delicious with Daal-Chawal, Daal Khichdi as well as a complimentary to any main course.
